After a long period of unjust imprisonment for three people, a whole set of investigations was reopened under the chairmanship of civil rights lawyer Ronald Robbie, and former attorney general Sue Anne Robinson, an investigator at the National Security Center. Kennedy, and Era Lee Todd Jr., a member of the Detroit Special Crimes Task Force, discover that these people are not fully guilty.
