Community is back with its third season, this series is about a bunch of community college students. A lawyer falsified his bachelor’s degree in law so now he goes to a community college and makes a Spanish study group, only to go out with a Spanish student. To his surprise she is not the only one wanting to join his study group.
In season five we finally get the sense that the strictures of network comedy-making that have so tormented him [Harmon]-the push to wring broad demographic appeal out of an acutely personal show-have been lifted, to the show's great benefit, at last.
As a charter member of this particular church choir, there are enough laughs and positive character choice signposts to have faith in Harmon returning to the altar.
They're going to make sure such a great comic cast and energy won't be wasted again. And alongside NBC's other ho-hum comedies, it emerges second only to Parks and Rec.
